Location/s: Kikuyabashi, Taito-ku, Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan.

Trade Mark/s: There are a number of different trademarks, the earliest being the letters "B" and "C" within an oval. Later versions include the letter "B" within a "C" (easily mistaken for a box) or "B Sign of Quality Toys" or a baby motif holding the B within C symbol.

Dates: Founded 1950 - To present. 

Notes: Founded by Naoharu Yamashina. The company started out as a wholesaler of celluloid and metal (riding) toys, as well as rubber flotation aids, and introduced its first original product, the Rhythm Ball, in September of 1950. Bandai is currently Japan's largest toy producer and the third largest toy company in the world.
